Our Specialist Services

Every procedure is centred on one principle: achieving the outcome you were promised the first time. Our services span the full spectrum of corrective nasal surgery.

Primary Service
Revision Rhinoplasty
Our flagship service — comprehensive surgical correction of unsatisfactory rhinoplasty results. Whether you've experienced asymmetry, collapse, scarring, breathing difficulties, or simply a result that never matched your expectations, our specialists have the advanced techniques to help.
  • Autologous cartilage reconstruction using rib or ear cartilage
  • Spreader graft placement for internal valve repair
  • Correction of over-resected or over-projected noses
  • Scar tissue removal and tissue plane restoration
  • Both open and closed approach available
Breathing & Function
Functional Rhinoplasty
When previous nasal surgery has compromised your ability to breathe freely, functional rhinoplasty can restore airflow and dramatically improve your quality of life. We address the root structural causes — not just the symptoms.
  • Septal reconstruction and straightening
  • Turbinate reduction (submucosal resection)
  • Internal and external nasal valve repair
  • Combined aesthetic and functional surgery available
Cultural Sensitivity
Ethnic Rhinoplasty
Nasal surgery that honours your heritage. Our approach balances refinement and harmony with deep respect for the features that make you uniquely you. We reject the one-size-fits-all approach entirely.
  • Tailored assessment of ethnic nasal anatomy
  • Tip refinement without westernisation
  • Dorsal reduction with preservation of cultural character
  • Extensive experience across all ethnicities
Injury Correction
Post-Trauma Reconstruction
Restoring nasal structure and aesthetics after physical trauma or failed reconstructive attempts. We work with complex anatomy to rebuild the nose from within, using grafts and structural frameworks where needed.
  • Sports injury and RTA nasal reconstruction
  • Correction of previously failed reconstructions
  • Complex grafting and framework rebuilding
  • Coordination with ENT specialists where required
No Downtime Option
Non-Surgical Revision
For minor asymmetries, post-surgical depressions, and contour irregularities, carefully administered hyaluronic acid filler can provide immediate improvement with zero recovery time. Only appropriate for suitable cases — assessed honestly.
  • Same-day results with no anaesthetic
  • Temporary — fully reversible with hyaluronidase
  • Suitable for minor contour correction only
  • Performed by medically qualified practitioners
Isolated Correction
Tip Refinement Surgery
The nasal tip is the most technically demanding area to revise. Pinching, over-rotation, boxy appearance, or poor definition can be addressed with isolated tip surgery — a focused procedure with high aesthetic impact.
  • Shield and cap grafts for tip definition
  • Suture techniques to correct rotation and projection
  • Correction of pinched or collapsed tip lobules
  • Minimal incision approach where possible

Not sure which procedure is right for you?

Is revision rhinoplasty
right for you?

Understanding whether you are a candidate for revision surgery is the essential first step. This guide helps you recognise the signs and understand your options.

Recognising
the signs

Revision rhinoplasty may be appropriate if you are experiencing any of the following after a previous nasal procedure.

Persistent breathing difficulties
Ongoing nasal obstruction or difficulty breathing through one or both nostrils months after surgery.
Visible asymmetry or irregularities
Crooked appearance, uneven nostrils, visible bumps or divots that were absent before surgery.
Pinched or collapsed tip
A narrow, pinched appearance at the nasal tip, often caused by over-aggressive cartilage removal.
Over or under-correction
A result that looks too small, too large, over-rotated, or simply different to what was agreed.
Saddle nose deformity
A characteristic depression of the nasal bridge caused by structural collapse following aggressive dorsal reduction.
Emotional distress or loss of confidence
Significant psychological impact from a result you are unhappy with is a valid and recognised indication for revision.

What makes a
good candidate

The following criteria help us assess suitability for revision rhinoplasty at your consultation.

At least 12 months post-primary surgery. The nose must be fully healed before revision can be safely undertaken.
Realistic expectations. You understand that revision surgery works within the constraints of existing anatomy and scar tissue.
Good general health. Non-smoker or willing to cease smoking, no contraindicated medical conditions.
Specific, articulable concerns. You can clearly identify what you would like corrected.
Emotional readiness. You approach the procedure from a stable emotional baseline and understand the recovery process fully.

Book a complimentary assessment and we will give you an honest answer — even if that answer is to wait, or that surgery isn't needed.

Your recovery,
our commitment

Understanding what to expect after revision rhinoplasty is essential for a smooth, stress-free recovery. We walk beside you through every stage.

Week by week, milestone by milestone

1
Days 1–7
The First Week
Expect swelling, bruising, and some discomfort around the nose and eyes — entirely normal. A nasal splint will be in place for 7–10 days. Rest is essential. Keep your head elevated and avoid strenuous activity.
Head elevated at 45°Cold compressesSoft dietNo blowing nose
2
Week 2
Splint Removal
Your splint is removed at your first post-operative appointment. Significant swelling will remain — do not judge your result at this stage. Most patients feel comfortable returning to light desk work. Bruising fades considerably.

3
Weeks 3–6
Visible Improvement
Swelling reduces noticeably and the emerging shape of your nose becomes visible. Light exercise may resume after week 4. Avoid contact sports. High-factor sun protection is essential.

4
Months 2–6
Continued Refinement
The majority of swelling resolves during this period. You will see your result taking its final shape. Monthly check-ins with your team are important. Residual tip swelling can persist longer in revision cases.

5
12 Months+
Your Final Result
At 12 months post-revision, your nose will have reached its final settled result. Full healing can take up to 18 months in complex cases. Results are long-lasting and in most cases permanent.

Supporting your healing

💊
Medication & Pain Management
Take all prescribed medications as directed. Paracetamol is generally sufficient for pain management. Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin as these thin the blood.
🌙
Sleep & Rest Position
Sleep on your back with your head elevated for a minimum of 6 weeks. Sleeping on your side risks disturbing the healing nasal structures. Travel pillows can help.
☀️
Sun & Skin Care
Avoid direct sun exposure for the first 3 months. Use SPF 50+ when outdoors. UV exposure to swollen tissue can lead to permanent pigmentation changes.
🍎
Nutrition & Hydration
Prioritise protein intake and stay well-hydrated. Vitamin C and zinc can assist tissue repair. Avoid alcohol entirely for the first 4 weeks post-surgery.

Frequently asked
questions

We believe an informed patient makes the best decisions. Browse our most common questions, or speak with a specialist directly.

Revision rhinoplasty is significantly more complex than primary surgery. The presence of scar tissue, altered anatomy, and potentially missing cartilage all create additional challenges. It requires specialist skills, and not all rhinoplasty surgeons are qualified to perform revision procedures safely.
We use a variety of advanced techniques including autologous cartilage grafting (ear or rib), spreader grafts, columellar strut grafts, shield grafts for the tip, and structural framework reconstruction. We use both open and closed approaches depending on what is required.
Most revision rhinoplasty procedures take between 3 and 5 hours, depending on complexity. Complex cases requiring rib cartilage harvest may take up to 6 hours. Surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and you will typically be discharged the same day.
We generally recommend waiting a minimum of 12 months after your primary rhinoplasty. The nose continues to change for up to 18 months post-surgery, and operating too early risks compounding the problem. In cases of functional impairment, earlier intervention may sometimes be considered.
Yes — we regularly treat patients who have undergone two, three, or even more previous rhinoplasty procedures. While additional prior surgeries increase complexity, our team has extensive experience with multiply-operated noses and will give you an honest assessment of what is achievable.
Our revision rhinoplasty packages start from £9,500 for standard cases and from £14,500 for complex cases. All quotes are fully inclusive of consultation, surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, and 12 months of follow-up care. We offer 0% finance options and extended payment plans.
In limited circumstances, revision surgery for functional impairment may be considered for NHS referral. Purely cosmetic revisions are not funded by the NHS. We recommend speaking with your GP if functional issues are your primary concern and we are happy to provide supporting documentation where appropriate.
Yes. We offer 0% interest finance over 12 months and low-rate credit plans over 24, 36, or 60 months through our regulated finance partner. Finance is subject to status and credit approval.
Most patients feel comfortable returning to desk-based or remote work by the end of week 2. Those in physically demanding roles typically take 3–4 weeks off. Your splint is removed at your first post-operative appointment, after which most visible bruising fades quickly.
Due to the complexity of revision surgery, the full final result takes between 12 and 18 months to emerge. Significant improvement will be visible from around the 3-month mark, but tip refinement and residual swelling continue to resolve over a longer period.
As with all surgery, revision rhinoplasty carries risks including bleeding, infection, adverse reaction to anaesthetic, asymmetry, scarring, and rarely the need for further surgery. Revision rhinoplasty carries a slightly higher risk profile than primary surgery due to existing scar tissue. We discuss all risks thoroughly at your consultation.
All of our surgeons are fully qualified specialists in Plastic Surgery or ENT Surgery and are members of recognised professional bodies. We encourage all patients to verify surgeon credentials independently before undergoing any surgical procedure. Full details are provided at your consultation.
